A MID-19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD LIBRARY CLOCK, OF SMALL PROPORTIONS, BY MUSTON & GATH, LONDON & BRISTOL, of rectangular form, bevelled glass panels to the sides and glazed front, above ogee moulding on a plinth base, enclosing a signed 3½-inch rectangular silvered engraved dial with Roman numerals and fronting a substantial eight-day spring driven fusee movement with anchor escapement. 22cm high CONDITION REPORTIt is wire wound and there is no visible sign of a chain, the wooded case has two circular marks on the top each with a central dowel perhaps where there had once been a handle. There is a key to the case and to the mechanism, the clock appears not to be working
