Phillip M. Haozous (Chiricahua Apache, b. 1941) bronze sculpture titled Sacred Rain Arrow. The sculpture features a Native American shooting an arrow up into the sky. The sculpture rests on a slightly tapering wood plinth base and is titled with a quote by the artist Allan Houser. The base also has a stamp Cultural Olympiad Salt Lake 2002. The sculpture is signed, numbered 51/202 and dated 2001 along the base. Provenance: Collection of Judith Balderson, MN.Dimensions: Height w/ base: 17 1/4 in. x Width: 6 3/4 in. x Depth: 5 1/2.
