Four pieces of tribal art, comprising an Ethiopian Gurage Headrest, with dished elliptical top on pierced slim arcaded uprights incised with bands of reeding and with chamfered elliptical plinth base, 17cm (Provenance:- Seward Kennedy Collection); a Turkana Headrest, Kenya, of light brown wood, with dished rectangular top, waisted upright inset with plaited leather looped handle, on a chamfered domed base, 20cm; a 20th Century Kamba Stool, Kenya, the dished circular seat inlaid with circular and fan motifs in coloured glass beads, raised upon four turned outward splayed legs terminating in compressed bun feet, 35cm diameter, 34cm high; a Bembe, Kongo (Bafum) Power Figure, in glossy chestnut coloured wood, carved as a man seated on the back of a crouching boy, and wearing a wide brimmed hat covered in sheet tin, his head tilting slightly backwards, with glass covered painted eyes, his hands resting on his knees and holding the head of a man and a sheet tin covered dagger, on a circular plinth, the edge bound with sheet tin, 52cm (4)Condition report: Cracks to his face, some lifting and splitting of the sheet metal applique.

Garniture of three - largest centre stick is loose on the plinth. Smaller pair - one with bend to the castellated rim, the other is slightly loose on the plinth. The largest is 54cm high.

Corgi - A boxed Corgi #76901 Limited Edition 'Eddie Stobart Ltd. 30th Anniversary 1970-200' set. The set containing five tractor units, and wooden plinth, appears to be in mostly Mint condition - one tractor has slight bend on mirrors, housed in Mint inner polystyrene, and presented within a Very Good box with a some surface marks and small tear to one corner on lid. A pair of Indian Gujarat carved wood architectural columns, 16th/17th century, decorated in relief with figures, scrolls and foliage, heights 103.5cm and 105.5cm, mounted on plinth bases. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector. Note: the state of Gujarat was the chief centre of wood carving in India from at least the 15th century. The people of Gujarat used wood freely in the construction of temple pavilions, balconies, facades, doors, columns and brackets. Wood carving in the Mughal period (1556-1707) shows a blend of the indigenous and Mughal styles.
