Fine Regency mahogany and ebony line inlaid serving table in the manner of George Oakley, with two frieze drawers between finely cast bronze lion mask mounts on four pairs of reeded legs, each with ebony collars and carved lion paw feet, on plinth bases, 251cm long x 70cm deep x 87cm high. NB: A comparable serving or buffet table by George Oakley, with the same support configuration and similar lion mask ornament is in the Royal Collection at Holyroodhouse, Inventory number 28079. It is noted in their literature that in 1800, George Oakley’s firm attracted the patronage of the Prince of Wales, and Oakley is known to have supplied items to Carlton House.Good original condition, some cracks to top, poor repair to crossbanding on top, some minor veneer losses, legs and bases need re-polishing and bases have some losses to veneer- see extra images

The model sits within Mint polystyrene inner packaging containing gloves, and model tool. The model also comes with Franklin Mint certificates / ephemera within sealed packaging, plus a wooden display plinth also contained within Mint sealed packaging. A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY FRIEDRICH GOLDSCHEIDER POLYCHROME-PATINATED TERRACOTTA ORIENTALIST BUSTS BY FRIEDRICH GOLDSCHEIDER, the female bust inscribed 926/XXI BELOW the Goldscheider cachet, the male bust inscribed 925/V above the Goldscheider cachet, height 47cm approx., together with one square oak and baize covered plinth (3) (Condition report: the female bust has a chip to the edge of the cape on the left hand side, there is a crack to the inside of the base but it does not seem to go through the body, the male bust has a large chip to the front of the cape at the right hand side and a smaller chip under the front corner of the cape on the left hand side, to the interior of the base there are two cracks/ firing faults that have had some repair internally and perhaps some gilding externally, both are generally a bit dust with slight rubbing to glazes in places)
