A George III style mahogany kneehole desk, pierced gallery over gilt finished tooled leather, over central drawers with scrolling apron, flanked by eight short drawers, raised on plinth with hidden castors, 122cmW x 66cmD x 81cmH (with a glass panel for the top) Provenance: Made for and presented to the Headmaster of Wellingborough School in 1907 and thence by descent through the family.

A late 18th century oak longcase clock of small proportions, the 11" brass dial set with Roman numerals to the chapter ring and date aperture inscribed "Wainwright Bunny" flanked by turned pilasters above a long arch door to plinth base, height 181cm. Humphrey Wainwright of Bunny is noted in Baillie Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World in reference to a late 18th century musical longcase clock.

A pair of 19th century French Boullework pier cabinets, each with black slate rectangular top above acanthus gilt metal mounted frieze, tortoiseshell inlaid panel door flanked by caryatid mounts to a stepped plinth with gilded masks to the side panels, height 112.5cm, width 73cm, depth 38cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both have large areas of lifting brass and old repair, also small sections missing to tortoiseshell. Good quality mounts. Wood is poor colour. They are from a private house in the North West of England.
An unusual 19th century ebonised tortoiseshell detailed and brass mounted side cabinet, the brass three quarter baluster turned gallery above single glazed door with tortoiseshell and brass rosette border enclosing two shaped shelves to a plinth base and squat bun feet, width 78cm. CONDITION REPORT: External dimensions: height - 109cm; width - 77cm; depth - 35cm. Internal dimensions: variable to open. Splits to timber of gallery but basically OK.
A Victorian walnut and inlaid serpentine fronted credenza with central cupboard door flanked by pair of glazed doors to a plinth base, width 152cm (one door af). CONDITION REPORT: The left glass is missing, it has been sun bleached throughout, particularly on the front panel, scuffs and scrapes throughout, a couple of surface cracks on the top surface as you would expect. Internal depth: 28cm. Overall: height - 103cm; width - 152cm, depth - 41cm.
Late 18th century oak and mahogany cross banded 8 day long case clock with brass dial and 2 subsidiary dial and arched moon phase above signed Ely Stott Wakefield. 93" tall. 2 weights and a pendulum. 13" dial Condition - case needs restoration, bottom plinth missing, veneer lifting, fretwork detailing missing from swan neck pediment, some of the cornice has gone. Works and movement look quite good.

Married but separated from her first husband, she began to sign her works, In 1854, under the name '' Madame Leon Bertaux '' the name of her companion whom she married In 1866, after the death of her first husband In 1865. Later casting c. Early 1950's with Bronze Medal. To figures fright hand which reads Bronze Garranti Paris J.B. Deposee.
