MEISSEN PORCELAIN FLOWER ENCRUSTED ROCAILLE-MOULDED CLOCK, STAND, PLINTH & DOME the clock applied with four putto modelled to represent the seasons, movement stamped behind bell Lenzkirch AGU 372488, clock 47cms high, conforming porcelain tri-foot base and wooden plinth, completed with large glass dome Condition: glass panel at back cracked, hand of top putti broken (with us), small areas of restoration, please see images Provenance: cleared from a Grade II listed historic house, Snowdonia The is some restoration work to the underneath, mainly the feet.There is a few breaks, the obvious being the top putto’s arm, which is present. The central putto’s headpiece has chips and so does the corn in his hands. There a few chips to the flowers and leaves.The front clock glass is missing and the back glass is cracked.

Loosely placed to the top of a silver coloured metal stand in the form of three cricket stumps and mounted to a black wooden plinth with an engraved band relating to McCabe and some of his notable career achievements. Unusual in this form. Some very slight age wear, otherwise VG
