Figures by a tree, 1956, clay sculpture, comprising a family of separately modelled father, mother and child looking up at a spindly tree, rectangular plaster base with clay wash and hatchet marks to top surface, top edge signed and dated in block capitals, 'C Philip Smith '56', overall 37 x 27 x 17 cm (14. 5 x 10.5 x 6.75 ins), housed in a perspex box on a white-painted wooden plinth, height of plinth 124cm (1)
James Saddleton, Lynn', a George III mahogany longcase clock, pagoda shaped hood with floral inlay, above quarter fan paterae to the trunk and plinth, 12" dial, with strike silent to arch, seconds and date subsiduary dials, five pillar movement, 232cm tall Probable replacement of fretwork to hood where inlay is. Clock looks pretty much original, ball finials mising, glass has been replaced and not puttied in very well, pverall colour is pretty good. The silvered dial isclean but the two small screws by the date dial have been over tightened and put indentation in the dial. The door is very slgihtly warped with 4 1/2 inch pieces of moulding missing. Usual dry cracking and the feet have had some work. Not sure about the inlaid panel on the hood as it does not really match the other veneers in style or quality.
A pair of taxidermies of birds of paradise in a naturalistic twiggy setting, each with two other birds on the twig, on black oval plinth with domes (one af), height approx 55cm. CONDITION REPORT: One dome cracked, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A large pair of early 20th century Black Forest carved walnut and beech plaques, each with detailed carving depicting various game on a shaped wall mounting plinth bracket, each approx 79 x 42cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are minor losses in parts as you would expect with the age, a small section of one of the scrolling plaques missing, one of the roundels missing to the frame, and a few natural fine cracks to the wood.

A Victorian Parian bust depicting Queen Victoria produced to commemorate the 1887 Jubilee, height 24cm, and a black basalt bust of Sir Winston Churchill inscribed "J. Bromley" and on wooden plinth, height including plinth 25.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: A few fine cracks to the Parian, presumably in firing rather than damage. Tip of one of the crown points is broken and missing. Winston Churchill condition is OK.
An Edwardian mahogany bookcase of rounded rectangular form, with stepped frieze above a pair of glazed doors enclosing four shelves, the base with pair of cupboard doors, on plinth base, height 250cm, width 89cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age. Basically in good condition.
