A fine scale model Racing Car Transporter by Carlo Brianza. Depicting a Fiat 642 NR2 of the Maserati racing team. A limited edition, No045/500 produced, finished in bright yellow and dark blue ‘Maserati Modena Italia’ livery. A finely detailed model, mounted on a gloss black resin plinth with information plaque to front of cab. Within a clear Perspex cover (cracked). All within an outer box. Vehicle GC-VGC a few minor parts require attention. Plate 6
A 3.5" GNR Live Steam tender Locomotive. A 1000 class 3 cylinder locomotive, forerunner of the K3 class 2-6-0. Designed by Sir Nigel Gresley and built at Doncaster in 1920. Although originally designated as ‘fast goods’ the 10 engines of the class were extensively used on express passenger trains throughout the 1920’s. The model – is finished in Great Northern Railway green livery, RN4007 and is equipped with detailed valve gear, cab fittings, (some missing). Plus opening smoke box door, with centre dart, copper topped brass dome, safety valves, drop link couplings, guard irons and sprung buffers. Also a 6 wheel coal rail tender with water container and control valves. 1100cm in length. 32cm high. Mounted on a tracked wooden plinth. Complete with a small amount of historical paperwork. QGC some parts missing, restoration required. Sold as a collector’s item only. Plate 4
20th century AD. A group of bird models comprising: a robin on a stump; two seagulls on a plinth; two nestlings on a branch; a bird on a floral stand; a bird on a candlestick; two ducks. Property of a retired Harwich collector. 1.10 kg total, 10-19cm (4 - 7 1/2"). [7, No Reserve] Fine condition.
An early 20th Century stuffed and mounted Green Woodpecker, in naturalistic setting, within a glass fronted display case, together with a stuffed and mounted Golden Plover, set on a mossy covered plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Case in a very worn state, back boards splitting, mossy branch appears to be mouldy at base - see images for further details. Plover is dusty and dirty, and there appears to be powder coming out of its left wing.
