A 1930's Art Deco Large Chalk Ware Figure Raised on a black rectangular plinth and finished in unusual pearlescent celadon paint finish. Depicts a striding female nude with large German Shepherd dog in walking stance. Requires some restoration there is some damage to ear that has been poorly glued.

(12.4cm.) long, weight 1.08 tr.oz.
A George II oak longcase clock, 33cm arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, inscribed Andrew Dickie, Edinburgh, the arch now with a portrait profile roundel, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, twin-winding holes, 8-day movement striking on a bell, the hood with outswept pediment and reeded columns, arched rectangular door to waist, plinth base, 215cm high
A large Derby figure of John Wilkes, c.1765-70, standing and resting one hand on a square plinth, atop of which rests a scroll inscribed 'Bill of Rights', draped in a long pink cloak, a putto to his right, holding a phrygian cap on the end of a stick and supporting a book titled 'Lock [sic] on Gov't', raised on a scrolled base, the putto's right foot lacking, 31.5cm. John Wilkes (1725-1797) was an English politician and radical journalist whose criticism of the King in his magazine The North Briton earned him a warrant for his arrest for libel in 1763. Citing parliamentary privilege he was cleared of the charge and went on to become Lord Mayor of London in 1774.
