After Antonio Canova (Italian 1757-1822); a carved white marble bust of Paolina Borghese (Bonaparte) probably styled as Helen of Troy (?) supported by a turned socle and a square plinth base bearing the name "Paolina Borghese", marked "Canova" to the rear of the figure 55cm highPrivate collection, deceased north London estate. No written history is available.No apparent major damage or repair. Surface marks, blemishes and discolouration in places, commensurate with age, and small nibbles to the corner of the base.One area of veining on the shoulder appears to be a natural feature of the marble rather than a fault.Please see the extra images.
A Derby porcelain figure group of Jason and Medea at the altar of Diana, c1780, painted in colours and bearing the incised number 37 to the base, 29 cm overall height, tgether with a Derby figure of Andromache weeping for Hector, painted in colours, patch marks to the base, "Welch Tailors Wife" together with other English porcelain figures and a Staffordshire pearlware 'St. Matthew' and other items.Private estateTailor's wife:The goat horns are missing/damaged its front legs is cracked and tail missing, the baskets are missing the handles, the lady's hat is chipped, the goats ear is chipped at the tip, the base is cracked.Figure of spring:flowers and leaves a little chipped.The Gardner's wife bocage figure:One arm is replaced, extensive losses to the bocage and rear of scroll base as it joins the tree stump.The weeping Andromache:some rubbing to her robe colours ,a firing crack to her left wrist, some small chips to the base, gilding rubbed.The altar of Diana:Diana's quiver is broken, her neck and right arm are restored.Jason's left arm is restored, Medea's right arm is restored.The rear corner of the plinth is restored.Fancy bird decorated vase:It seems to be in good order other than slight chips to the petals.Rootstock handled vase and cover:The handles have been restored, the rim has a firing crack, inevitably chipped petals and leaves. Cover chipped blooms and cracked internally and large chip to rim.The Shepherd's companion:Right arm restored and 9/10ths of hand missing, left arm restored fully, considerable loss of bocage and stump.Walton pearlware figure of St. Matthew:The base is badly broken and restored, bocage fully missing, the figure has been off its base and his nose and right hand fingers are missing (a bit of a train wreck).
An early 20th century 'Globe Wernicke' style mahogany four-tier modular bookcase, with moulded top above four "window pane" glazed lift-up doors, on a similarly moulded plinth base. 87 cm wide x 136 cm overall height x 34 cm deep.The glass doors are all intact and they lift and slide as expected, the cabinet work has a few small blemishes that are shown in the extra images.One of the rear boards has a bow at the centre see the extra images for clarification.

Bburago & Ertl - a boxed group of mixed Scale Classic, Sport and High Performance Cars to include a Bburago 3516, a Jaguar 'E' Cabriolet in green with cream interior and chrome detailing (1961) complete with plinth, an earlier issue Bburago 0132 1/24 Scale (1000 Miglia) a Mercedes-Benz 300SL "Mille M" (1954), a Bburago 1502 1/24 Scale Jaguar XK120 "Roadster" (1948), an Ertl 1826 1/25 Scale "Firebird" along with an Ertl 1682 1/25 Scale '32 Roadster. Conditions all generally appear to be Good although not checked for completeness or correctness and are all in generally Good outer boxes/window boxes although the window boxes do suffer from crushing and old price stickers. Gwilo a boxed 1/18th scale F1 McLaren (1993) with chrome plated finish and mounted on a plinth with chrome plaque (converted from Maisto). Condition of this model is Good although it does have some light surface marks which are normally found on these types of models and would benefit from a light clean and is presented in a Good outer box (there is no certificate and no polishing cloth with this model). Gwilo 1/18th scale boxed Ferrari F50 Cabriolet presented in 22 carat gold (converted from Maisto) which is presented on a wooden plinth and a gold effect plaque which generally appears to be Excellent although does have some light surface marks which are normal for this type of model and would benefit from a further clean and is presented in a Good outer special leather effect box (no polishing cloth) and comes complete with certificate of issue and a sheet of care instructions (please note the inside lid of the box the interior padded layer has come loose and has been sellotaped in place).
