The depth is 22 cm. At a guess the weight is roughly 20 kg.

The plinth base has some wear to it. A couple of the draws have chips to their top as well as some chips to the front. There is no obvious evidence of woodworm. See attached images.

An antique 19th Century French Empire gilt ormolu torchere / bust / plant stand of decorative form having a raised pierced brass gallery with marble plinth below. Further applied gilt metal scroll and floral decoration to the frieze with th top supported by tapering reeded columns. Second shaped tier below with central finial and gilt draped apron with all being raised on splayed tapering legs. Measures approx 102cm x 30cm x 30cm.

She studied Ceramics and Terracotta Sculpture. Her work covers Life Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. Her working life as a Physiotherapist with disabled children has resulted in a deep understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, Movement and Dance. Olive is a member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists, of Visual Arts Scotland, of Paisley Art Institute and the Royal Glasgow Institute. She has periodic exhibitions with the above Societies and with other artists in joint exhibitions, such as the Barlinnie Special Unit and Maryhill Arts Centre. She was also part of the Celebration of International Women Artists in San Francisco. She has work at present in galleries in Scotland and in private collections in Britain, Spain and Italy.
A Victorian oak and mahogany cased thirty-hour longcase clock, with painted arch-top dial, incorporating two subsidiaries, signed J C Elliott, Leeds, 229cm high 23.02.21 Hood with some veneer lifting in parts, case with small chips in parts, plinth with a loose front panel and the bottom skirting is springing away from the carcass and with small chips to veneers and some veneer lacking, dial is discoloured and with some paintwork lacking in parts, dial with scratches and crazing marks, hands are discoloured, movement is dirty, with pendulum and one weight.

PAIR ANGELS South Germany, 18th century, wood, carved and painted, worked as counterparts, the angels each standing on a plinth, the arms bent and slightly raised in front of the body, one of the angels holding a candlestick in his hand, the raised wings decoratively framing the angels' faces carved with luxuriant curls, the robe is folded in several layers around the body, springing up at the sides, h: approx. 70 cm. Signs of age.
