A large late Victorian carved bracket clock with arched case, brass dial set with Roman numerals to the silvered chapter ring beneath slow fast subsidiary dial housing a twin fusee movement to stepped plinth base, height 48cm. CONDITION REPORT: Has not been tested so cannot guarantee working order, has pendulum but no key, seems to be missing a pediment as there are four vacant holes at the top, general wear with some small losses, scuffs and scrapes to the body, only traces of the exterior gilding remain, face with some discolouration, the fabric panels to each side tired, faded, and a little threadbare.
A late 17thC/early 18thC longcase clock by Samuel Barrow of London, in handmade figured walnut case with feather banding and with original eight day fusee movement, having five pillars and with silvered chapter ring, brass spandrels, signed Sam Barrow, Londini, Fecit, with later ebonised plinth base, 210cm high. A George V silver oval swing-handled basket, quite plain, plinth base, 20cm high over handle, 26cm wide, A Marks & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1932, 15.1oz Condition Report: Good condition: no splits or repairs. Some surface and very light scratches. Struck twice: hallmarks on basket crisp, the handle hallmarks clear.
