A 19th century mahogany 'True Moon Phase' 8-day calendar Longcase Clock, Robert Lawson Leigh, with calendar hand and moon phase indicator, the arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, black Roman numerals marking the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes and calendar, the silvered centre with moon phase indicator dial inscribed "The Moons Age", decorated in gilt and also inscribed "Time Shews the Way of Lifes Decay", questionmark scroll spandrels, the arch with maker's name, true moon phase and demi-lune landscape painting, the 8-day movement, striking the hours and half hours on a bell, with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, unusual and exceptional true moon phase mechanism, compensating pendulum and two weights, the mahogany Chippendale style case with boxwood stringing, arched swan-neck hood, cluster columns, triple pointed Gothic door, plinth base and bracket feet, 98in (249cm) high x 24in (61cm) wide x 10in (25.5cm) deep. Overall good condition. Seat appears not original and movement possibly has later alterations, therefore viewing is recommended.
A George III mahogany 8-day Longcase Clock, W'm Nicholas, Birmingham, with two-train movement striking on a bell, the arched painted 'Empire' dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary date and seconds, a military scene to the arch, the case with marquetry inlay, swan-neck hood with brass-capped Corinthian columns, corresponding trunk, plinth base and bracket feet, 91in (231cm) high x 21½in (54.5cm) wide.

An elegant Ormolu/gilded Mantel Clock having a movement striking on a bell by Japy Freres & C., numbered 2725/64 with white enamelled face with Roman numerals, regulator square spindle above the 12 o'clock position, the case surmounted by two putti, one possibly Eros, gazing down at two butterflies to the plinth with crossed Olympic style torch and arrow quiver, a chain beneath the face supported by the beaks of flanking perched birds. Complete with a white marble plinth but an upper plinth is missing and accordingly the clock does not sit level. 11 1/2'' wide x 5 3/8'' deep x 14 5/8'' high, pendulum present, key lacking.
