A mid 19th century French gilt bronze and porcelain (probably Sevres) three piece clock garniture, the clock surmounted with a porcelain pedestal urn and cover, having jewelled enamel decoration, half fluted body with a pink ground, all heightened in gilt, the gilt bronze case of square section with applied lion mask ring handles, the beaded dial flanked by leaf and flower drapes, the porcelain dial having Roman numerals within jeweled and gilded surrounds, twin winding holes for a French brass eight day cylinder movement striking on a bell, the plinth having acanthus leaf cast frieze and raised on six fluted square feet, clock height 41.5cm, the garniture as a pair of porcelain urns and covers (both covers a/f), each with continuous decoration of opposing figure and cherub scenes within landscapes, the whole within jewelled borders, having applied ormolu scroll hands and raised on circular spiral fluted bases, height 29cm (each section housed under a glass dome)
