Estate of Jeremy Bulloch - Star Wars - an important piece of Bulloch's estate: Bulloch's personalled owned life-size Limited Edition statue of Boba Fett. Released in 1996 by Rubie's Costume Company, made by Don Post Studios, as part of a limited edition run of licenced, life-size figures commemorating Return Of The Jedi, this statue is numbered 127 of 500. Each statue was hand-crafted by Michael Burnett Studios based on reference from Bulloch himself who actually modelled the body cast during production. This statue features a fully weathered fibreglass helmet and armour components; resin details, belt complete with battery box with internal electronics that power the chest armour panel (in working order). Mounted on a Return Of The Jedi plinth with edition details. Measures approx; 210cm tall. Bulloch filmed a detailed interview with the statue in the 1990s for the 'Myth Makers' VHS release - it can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkK_iXlxMEwBulloch's body was cast for this statue, and personal photographs from his time during the casting are also included. This statue lived in Bulloch's attic 'Boba Fett Museum' and featured in hundreds of photographs and interviews that took place at his home, many of which can easily be found on YouTube. It represents a unique piece of Star Wars memorabilia - not only did Bulloch own this statue for many years, but he was also instrumental in bringing it to life by having it cast directly from his body. This is Boba Fett's Boba Fett!Condition: this statue appears complete, with all smaller accessories present. One pouch has detached from the belt, two foot studs require re-gluing but are present. The figure has dust and some general 'wear and tear' marks from the years spent in Bulloch's attic on display. It should otherwise be regarded as being complete and generally in very good original condition although buyers are reminded for the need to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of such things prior to bidding. Delivery: the statue deconstructs for easier transportation (the base is removable, as is one hand and some smaller accessories.
