Hoffman Jaguar Mascot - a scarce original vintage American made Jaguar Leaper car bonnet mascot. Original, with correct hollow base and marked ' Hoffman ' to the side (Hoffman being an American Jaguar dealer) and ' Jaguar ' to the other side. Mounted on a circular base, and further mounted on a wooden display plinth. Nose to tail 12cm long. (132)

Mounted on a ribbed effect cast base, and a later wooden display plinth. The ribbed base effect was later dropped from the mass-produced mascots. Nose to tail 20cm. (368)

Gammages retailed a similar mascot in the 1950s although no photographs of one are known to exist, and the vendor believes that this may be a genuine Gammages issued mascot. Nose to tail 20cm. (370)
Leaping Jaguar - Casimir Brau - a scarce original Leaping Jaguar car radiator mascot by Casimir Brau, c1925. The nickel-plated bronze mascot in fine Art Deco style, mounted on a circular base signed ' C Brau '. French in origin, and originally retailed by Hermes of Paris. Later version with joined tail. Mounted on a later wooden plinth presentation base. Nose to tail 22cm. NB: It was thought that it was this mascot that originally inspired F. Gordon Crosby to design the Jaguar mascot that is now so familiar. Authenticated by Tony Wraight - leading expert on French mascots (399)
Airline Mascot - a rare early c1930s Jaguar made SS ' Airline ' leaping Jaguar car mascot. The mascot in the form of a less stylised more realistic Jaguar, leaping over a naturalistic raised base with detailed fur. Mounted on a later presentation wooden plinth base. Nose to tail 19cm long. (98)
A PAIR OF PROBABLE EARLY 20TH CENTURY MAHOGANY FINISHED SINGLE MIRROR DOORED WARDROBES, each having vacant interior, with full width hanging rail and hooks various, each supported on a plain plinth base, the pediements each having concealed storage area, 179cm high, 70cm wide (widest point)Condition report – General condition used, but good, some scratches, wear, some loss to the ebonising of the beading, the mouldings to top and base imply they have been separate units for a long time, difficult to tell if from original manufacture, possibly one part of a larger piece together as mouldings on one side and plain on the other.
