Ex important Japanese collection of jewellery, 1970s-2010. Fine condition.

An early 19th century figured mahogany bookcase, the upper part with moulded cornice canted front corners fitted three shelves with reeded fronts and enclosed by a pair of astragal glazed doors, the possibly associated base fitted three convex moulded frieze drawers and cupboards under on plinth supports. 215 cm high, 128 cm wide, 54 cm deep.
A Roman hollow gold hardstone intaglio ring,with an oval bevelled banded agate intaglio, engraved with a figure of Virtus Courage on a plinth holding a spear. Roman set in a landscape position, to 'D' section shoulders and shank with a court interior. An early 19th century French ormolu eight day mantel clock, signed Lepine Hger du Roi, surmounted by a maiden standing and holding an olive branch aloft, the clock surmounted with wreath, torch and anchor, the rectangular plinth base decorated with floral swags and raised on bun feet, on wooden plinth, clock measures 40cm long by 15cm deep by 55cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Glass dome not present.
A French ormolu eight day figural mantel clock, signed Leroi a Paris, the case surmounted by a chariot driven by a winged cherub pulled by a pair of butterflies, the white enamelled clock dial forming the wheel, on rectangular plinth raised on lion paw feet, the clock striking on a bell on the hour and half-hour, on oval wooden stand, clock measures 31cm long by 13cm wide by 28cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The original glass dome for this clock is present but sadly it is cracked.
A 19th century mahogany partners desk with moulded edge to the rectangular top, inset tooled leather, fitted with an arrangement of nine drawers to one side with turned knob handles, three frieze drawers & two cupboards to the other side, each pedestal with tall plinth base, 63” wide x 31.5” high x 36.5” deep. (two handles detached & two missing).

19th century mahogany partner's desk, the rectangular top with rounded corners, moulded edge and inset tooled leather, nine assorted drawers to either side, raised on plinth base, 200cm wide Condition ReportOne of the drawers is missing most of the handle, another two handles are damaged and one further is loose. Only 4 of the drawers have locks but the locks seem to be complete. There is some staining to the leather on top as well as some wear. There is a big scratch to one side. There are spots of wear throughout. See attached images.
An early Victorian figured mahogany chiffonier, with leaf moulded back, fitted single frieze drawer, cupboard under enclosed by pair of arched and crossbanded doors. 151 cm high, 122 cm wide, 49 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: The raised back is angled in slightly, has some paint splashes to the carved top and some minor staining, marks and scratches. The rectangular top is in similar condition with a small dent 2 ins from the edge, minor marks and scratches again. The cushion drawer has fading with some small veneer losses. The panelled doors generally are in good condition other than fading. The columns seem to be again in good condition. The plinth base has some veneer losses to the left-hand side section with some scuffing and minor veneer flakes to the front section. The interior has age appropriate wear. The drawer contains some remnants of veneer sections and some moulding as well.
A late Victorian mahogany cylinder pot cupboard, with grey and white variegated marble top and raised on an octagonal base. Height 73 cm, top diameter 39 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This pot cupboard has damage to the handle with a clean break to the ceramic down to the brass collar. We do not have this piece of handle. Looking at the top of the cupboard the moulded edge is largely in good condition but there is some chipping to the inner rim. The marble appears to be in good order with the exception of very slight wear. Looking at the sides of the cupboard these appear to be in good order, although its worth mentioning that the door does not close flush. Looking at the plinth, there is some slight separation of the mitre joints to base together with some minor veneer damage, scratching and chipping. Looking at the inside of the cupboard the supporting baton to the inside of the door has come slightly away from the inside of the door - indicating that the door is slightly warped as mentioned earlier in this report. There is some scuffing to the wood on the inside of the clasp area. There is otherwise slight scuffing and wear and staining commensurate with age and use.
A Chinese green patinated bronze vase, with flared neck and base and bulbous centre. Height 30 cm, converted to an electric lamp on plinth and drilled, with shade. Height 66 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This vase appears to be at least 19th century and is a good piece but has been drilled to form an electric lamp. The ebonised socle or plinth is worn.
