Marti & Co., flanked by column corners and with metal battle plaque scene beneath and with square stepped base raised on a mahogany plinth. Width 10.5 ins, height 15 ins (see illustration).
A Victorian walnut veneered Davenport desk, with rear stationery compartment, with three quarter brass gallery to slope top with tooled leather writing surface, the interior fitted with drawers and raised on turned supports flanked to the right by four drawers with wooden knob handles and with four opposing dummy drawers and raised on a plinth base with short turned feet (see illustration).
