A pair of large Chinese Sancai glazed attendants, possibly Ming dynasty, male and female, one modelled holding an offering bowl, the other holding a rectangular plinth, each glazed in green and yellow, with bisque removable heads, both raised on hexagonal bases, 49.5cm and 48cm high (2) (at fault)Condition report; Tip of one hat is missing. Back right of one hexagonal base has been re-glued. Each base has chipping and losses to the edges and high points. Glaze chipping and imperfections are also visible. Old restorations are apparent and some more recent restorations are probable.
A continental carved ivory Corpus Christi in the Dieppe manner, 19th century, probably reduced from a crucifix and set to a later stepped ebonised wooden plinth, the figure 11.5cm high, 18cm high overall (at fault) Trevanion Auctioneers & Valuers do not ship items containing ivory outside the UK. Trevanion recommends that buyers check with their own government regarding any importation requirements prior to placing a bid. A buyer's inability to import these lots cannot justify a delay in payment or sale cancellation.The government have proposed legislation to create a UK law to ban the sale of all ivory. Please note this means that this lot is legal to sell now but may not be in the future.

A brass desk inkwell, 19th century, designed as a cherub kneeling before a memorial plinth, surmounted by a sword and helmet, hinged to reveal the well, all upon a rectangular plinth base with stiff leaf borders, 11cm high, 11.5cm wide, 6cm deep and a circular brass pill box, the cover inset with a pressed tortoiseshell panel depicting a butterfly, 4.5cm diameter (2) CONDITION REPORT:Inkwell: The piece shows areas of oxidation, tarnishing, polish residue and surface wear throughout. The glass liner is associated, and fits loosely in the well. The hinge of the cover is slightly loose and the cover does not close perfectly. The cherub figure rotates if twisted.Pill box: The cover inset shows two deep scratches intersecting to form a 'Y' shape across the butterfly's antennae. The cover shows small dents and wear to the brass. The cover hinge shows evidence of historic repair. The body shows surface wear across the exterior, and wear, scratching and oxidation to the interior.
*A mid-19th century mahogany cased glass display case, the square moulded top applied with an open work spandrel gallery, and raised upon reeded architectural corner supports, enclosing glazed side panels and a mahogany back board, with a glazed hinged front door, raised upon a plinth base, 43cm H x 27cm Sq (at fault) Door and hinges are attached to a bar which has become detached from the front RH pillar, the panel below the door is secure however the panel above the door needs to be re-attached
A George III mahogany decanter box, the moulded square hinged cover with applied brass ring handle opening to a velour lined quarter compartment interior, the flame mahogany case applied with ornate brass corner brackets, over a moulded plinth base, 22cm H x 19cm SqCR; Moderate scratching, wear and tear to the exterior. Ripples and some splitting to the veneer. Some chips and knocks to the beading. Associated escutcheon. Moderate wear and tear to the velvet interior. Cover opens smoothly and closes flush. Some loss to the fabric on the base. See pictures for further illustration.
* A George III oak cased eight day longcase clock by Johnson of Dudley, the flat top hood with freestanding reeded pilasters flanking the 33cm break arch silvered dial with painted moon phase above a subsidiary second dial and date aperture, the dial centred with the makers name and enclosing the two train four pillar movement striking on a saucer bell, the trunk with a shaped and cross banded door flanked by conforming pilasters applied with brass capitals, above moulded brick effect detail, the Dutch bombe style lower part of the case with conforming chequered banding and brick detail, raised upon a plinth base, 215cm high, two weights and pendulumCondition reportSome loss of blind fretwork to the hood, pilasters on the hood are possibly later.Movement appears well maintained but no guarantee of working condition, extensions added to the back board behind the hood, dial has some stains and rubbing, with evidence of small brass patches it may have been later silvered.Base have the clock appears lighter than the rest of the trunk, and may indicate that it is associated (see image of rear panels)Other light general wear commensurate with age and use, overall the clock appears in solid condition although there is evidence of alterations and restoration throughout

Clock trunk has no hinged door or compartment to access further interior images
