An Early Tabernacle Form Gilt Brass Striking Table Clock, case possibly German, mid-17th Century, later movement restored in 1965 which still retains some 17th century parts, tabernacle form case with a restored top gallery supported on four tapered columns, foliate cast and chased plinth base, raised upon bun shaped feet, silvered Roman numeral dial with an inner quarter hour track and a foliate engraved centre, single tulip-shaped steel hand, the rear silvered Arabic dial is for the strike, now with a custom-made twin gut fusee movement, square section brass pillars, verge escapement, rear mounted bob pendulum, striking on a top mounted bell, 29cm high see illustration This clock was sold in ''The Albert Odmark Collection of Important Clocks and Watches Sale'' Christie's, London 11th March 2005, lot 422.12.02.18, The gilded surfaces are nicely aged and discoloured, case mid-17th century, both silvered dial are discoloured. The movement was restored by Keith Davies in 1965, the movement still retains the original top and base plates and square pillars, both the going and striking trains are replacements, later verge escapement, and now converted to bob pendulum, the strike train striking the bell housed in the restored gallery cupola above the dials via a hammer carried on a vertical steel arbor, clock in going order.

A Fine Burr Walnut Month Going Longcase Clock, signed Joseph Windmills, London, circa 1695, caddied pediment with three gilt brass finials, front pierced blind fret work panel, side viewing windows, nicely figured burr walnut veneers, convex cushion throat moulding, trunk door with a glazed lenticle, raised upon bun shaped feet, 12-inch square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring signed, matted dial centre with ringed winding holes, seconds dial, date aperture with a scroll decorated surround, dial plate edge with scroll engraved quarter marks, winged cherub spandrels, six pinned and latched movement pillars, anchor escapement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, 226cm high see illustrations 12.02.18, Pediment with a re-built caddy, later finials, hood with small chips to edges in parts, veneers are slightly lifting to the sides and the base in parts, some veneers with small cracks, plinth has been restored, dial chapter ring is very slightly discoloured, movement is clean, with two large brass cased weights and pendulum.

A pair of early 20th century French gilt bronze and alabaster twin branch figural lights. Each formed as a Classical semi clad maiden holding a large twin branch torch and raised on a square plinth, 46cm (2). Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. One sconce collar broken in two. The same sconce lacking its fastening finial bolt to the underside. Both need to be re wired. Bronze in good order.

A pair of sperm whale tooth scrimshaw carvings. One depicts a barque whaling ship titled W. S. Juno with the same ship verso in the distance and a rowing boat in the foreground, the other tooth showing a whale approaching the rowing boat and verso capsizing the vessel and inscribed Sam White 1845. Each raised on a wooden plinth, 15cm overall (2). N.B. This lot is sold with accompanying Cities article 10 transaction specific certificate which allows the lot to be sold by the current vendor within the EU only. Condition Report. Housing and 8 day Raingo Freres cylinder movement striking half hourly on a bell, 50cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Sold with pendulum, no key. Barrel springs intact but not running for sustained periods. Some cracks to the malachite.
