A late 19thC French gilt metal mantel clock, of eight-day movement striking on a bell, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed H'ry Marc, Paris, the drum shape case surmounted by a dead bird, a seated female figure and dog to the left, the oval base cast with nulled and foliate borders, strap work and ribband mounts, on scroll feet, 11½" high, ebonised plinth, (dome missing).
An early Victorian mahogany breakfront library bookcase, circa 1840, stamped 'James Winter & Son, 101 Wardour Street Soho London', the moulded cornice above a plain frieze numbered 'XX', 'XXI', 'XXII' and 'XXII', above four pairs of glazed doors divided by fluted pilasters with acanthus corbel capitals, above four pairs of fielded panel doors with leaf moulded reserves, on a plinth base, 490 cm wide, 303 cm high, 52 cm deep.
