LUIGI MASSONI FOR HARVEY GUZZINI; a pair of Brumbury table lamps, circa 1969, with chrome plinth bases, height 43cm (2).Additional InformationPitting, scuffs and wear to the chrome and metal parts, the pieces are very dusty/dirty, would definitely benefit from a clean, there are signs of rusting in parts to the chrome, they need a good clean. One with stress hairline crack to the underside, one complete with original label. We have not tested these items.

Three Japanese bronze Meiji period okimono to include an example holding a log above his shoulder, height of largest example 22cm, each raised on wooden plinth base (3).Additional InformationMinor wear, scratches and knocks, minor losses to the wooden bases in parts, the example supporting the two baskets with minor knocks and dents, the example with the football has been broken off the base and attached, also a large crack running through the body.

An early 20th century Chinese Famille Verte twin handed floor vase decorated with stylised birds and prunus flowers, indistinct red character mark to base, height 56.5cm, raised on wooden stand, together with two modern Chinese Wucai lidded jars, decorated with three-claw dragons, raised on matched wooden plinth bases, overall height 45cm (3).Additional InformationOne of the lidded jars with cover af, with a large piece which has been broken out and reglued. Wear to the gilding, each of the stands is worn with knocks and old repairs.

It has old break running across the bowl, which has been crudely glued, also smaller breaks/fractures from this break and numerous chips/old repairs. Please request additional images if necessary.

A pair of large Continental hard-paste porcelain figures depicting gentleman and lady, each holding a swag of flowers, and each wearing floral attire, raised on naturalistic plinth base, height 41cm.Additional InformationNumerous losses and chipping to the floral encrusted decoration, the bas on the female looks to have been part broken away and later coloured, large areas of repair/colour to the dress, and old repair to the top of the dress, her hand has been broken and old repairs throughout, he with chips/repair to the wrist and hand, also to the tree and base, extensive restoration to each.

A 19th century French walnut escritoire with grey veined marble top above frieze drawer, hinged main section enclosing a fitted interior above three further drawers to a moulded plinth, height 141cm, width 96.5cm, depth 43.5cm.Additional InformationGeneral surface wear throughout, splits to the right hand side, very heavy wear to the left hand side with signs of woodworm, also a large split to the left hand side, part of the back board is missing, one of the drawer stops for the interior would require attention, a few flecks of veneer missing, old signs of woodworm to the returns on the upper section on both sides.

A 19th century flame mahogany secretaire chiffonier, with single drawer with green leather inset and fitted compartments and drawers above a pair of cupboard doors raised on plinth base, length 115cm, depth 46cm, height 144cm.Additional InformationThe top two shelves are warped, and lifting, there are splits to the shelves, the top columns are loose and have been previously glued, there is surface wear, scratches and losses to the veneer, minor impact knocks and splitting to the sides.

An Art Deco walnut display cabinet of oval form, the single glazed door enclosing two fixed shelves, raised on plinth base, height 144cm, diameter 98cm, depth 35cm.Additional InformationThere is one glass shelf missing, the internal fixtures are a little bit loose, losses to the veneer throughout most notably in the central panel on the door, and around the outside, chips/losses to the corners. The piece is not lockable. Please note, the handle is a replacement and the internal lock has been removed. It is not lockable.

A large and impressive pair of late 19th century bronzed mixed-metal lamps modelled as Cavaliers, each set upon an oak leaf and acorn decorated integral circular plinth and mounted on impressive carved oak columns, unsigned, height of lamps 104cm, height of columns 110cm.Provenance: Private collection in North West.Additional InformationThe square section at the top of each plinth is 34 x 34cm. There are a few scuffs to the plinths, but nothing untoward. The figures themselves have some light rubbing to the raised parts, such as tips of boots, fingers, brims of hats. There is a little bit of pitting to each figure and some light surface wear, but overall an impressive, well modelled and good quality pair of lamps and plinths.
