An early 18th Century oak mule chest, the moulded planked top with internal iron hinges over a triple-raised and panelled carved front within double beaded borders, over one long triple-panelled drawer, upon a stepped plinth and block feet, 136cm wide, 62cm deep, 85cm high CONDITION REPORT: The top with stains, noticeable scratches and ring marks, also slightly warped. Burnished hinges missing screws. Lock complete. No noticeable worm. Internal box with missing hinge. Some panels split, side panel split. Some moulding missing to frieze, cushion front mouldings all rubbed. The whole with signs of bird droppings. Drawer lock missing and now blocked. Plinth rubbed.
