A George IV mahogany and parquetry triple fusee musical bracket clock, by William Jordan of Rickmansworth, the silvered arched Roman dial signed to the arch and with engraved rose spandrels, subsidiary chime selection dial at twelve, fronting a movement striking the hours on a nested set of eleven bells playing six airs and chiming on a twelfth bell, in an arched mahogany case with brass side handles, pierced brass grilles to sides and glazed rear door, on a parquetry banded plinth with gilt brass ball feet, 18½in. (47cm.) high.
An 18th century Channel Islands longcase clock by Nicolas Blondel, the eight day bell strike movement with four turned pillars, fronted by an arched brass Roman dial with Arabic outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at twelve to the matted centre, chamfered date aperture at six, foliate and floral gilt brass spandrels and signed to arch roundel 'Nicolas Blondel A Guernesey', the oak case with ogee cornice and turned half columns to hood, on a plinth base, 77¾in. Sturdy and stable. Top is cracked from right to left, almost the whole way across. Has general scrapes, scuffs and scratches. Both side panels are split vertically. There is some colour fading, watermarks, spots etc to the top. Is in fair, usable condition.
