A late 19th century bronze mantel clock, retailed by Thomas Agnew & Sons, signed to the black dial, with twin winding holes for an eight day brass cylinder movement, the naturalistic case surmounted with allegorical scene of a man taming a wild horse, the whole raised upon a sienna marble base to further bronze plinth, h.54cmAll bronze good, some light patina wear only.Marble plinth with some very minor chips to angles.Movement is heavily tarnished and unpolished.With pendulum and bell.
An oak and mahogany thirty hour longcase clock, brass dial signed Chrisr Johnson of Knaresbro, late 18th century Dial width 11 inches. Case is faded in parts, trunk inset pilasters with cracks and moulding slightly lifting. Trunk door is bowed, later skirting to plinth, feet missing. Wooden cheeks below the seatboard with woodworm holes. Dial is dirty, movement looks complete but needs cleaning, later pendulum, with weight, hood glass door is cracked.
A mahogany eight day longcase clock, signed Jn Smith, Congleton, circa 1820, flat top pediment, case with inlaid stringing and shell inlay, 14-inch square painted dial with Arabic numerals, seconds dial and date aperture, four pillar movement with an attached Finnemore falseplate, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 208cm high 03.09.18, Case has been polished, outer edges of the hood door with chips, some chips and mouldings missing to the top front and sides of the plinth, later feet, dial with one chip, dial markers are faded and rubbed in parts, seconds dial has been re-touched, movement needs cleaning, with pendulum and two weights.

Plaster cast figure of a semi-nude man on oval plinth, signed 'R.W.Southgate', H65cm Provenance - Ronald W. Southgate of Selby is known for carving the heads of Canon J. Solloway and Mr. William Liversidge on the doorway of the vestry in Selby Abbey's west front at the age of 19. In 1987 he carved a stone Bishop for the North Aisle at York Minster. A longcase clock, the 31 cm arch square brass dial signed Ellicott, London, with Roman numerals, the matt centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, and with Strike/Silent subsidiary dial to the arch, fitted an eight day five pillar movement striking on a bell, in a mahogany case, 250 cm high See illustrationThe client has just moved to the West country, the clock has not travelled well, it is basically complete but the trunk door has come away from the plinth base, with some bits now detached, the trunk door has a slight warp to it, the panel to the plinth base has quite a large warp, with a pendulum, winding key and two weights, the hood has all four mess grills to the sides, general wear and tear, slight and occasional loss, now needing some repair and restoration, but a tall and imposing clock nonethelessReport by GHWith weights and pendulum. Clock is basically in bits. Trunk will require re-assembly. Most pieces appear to be there but the clock is in a state of disrepair. No visible maker's marks to movement. Trunk door warped. Various cracks, old repairs etc to veneer all over. Some of the moulding sections below the hood are loose but present. There is a small piece of moulding missing around the lower top section. Some of the moulding round the trunk door are possibly not original
An early 20th Century Edison Standard Phonograph Model B, with aluminium horn (tired), stencilled to front of the oak case "Edison Standard Phonograph" on a ribbon CONDITION REPORTS The lid has numerous surface scratches, scuffs, accretions, discoloration and fading, some staining in areas. Both of the ends of the lid are missing. The main body has numerous surface scratches, scuffs, accretions, dents to the wood, discoloration and staining. There is a crack to one corner of the plinth. Areas of loss to the stencilled sign on the side of the box. The main mechanics have dirt and dust build up, areas of loss to the paint, some areas of rust, tarnishing, discoloration, scratches, accretions etc. The horn has numerous dents, is misshapen, some splits. The item does come with the handle. Wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.
