An Ornate Louis XVI Style Clock Set Circa 1880. The delicately painted enamel face with ornamental gilt brass hands fronted by a concave glass door. The brass case surmounted by an acorn finial and a garland of laurel ties in a fluttering ribbon, raised on a large bronze eagle with outspread wings and a floral wreath draped upon its neck. The white marble base edged in beading with pierced gilt brass foliate embellishment to the frieze. Standing 16 ins (41 cms) high on bun feet. The matching candelabra having bronze boys holding the candle cups aloft in the form of three flowers and clutching grapevine entwined staffs. The plinth bases with beaded collars, raised on bun feet 16 ins (41 cms) in height.
After Clodion. A Pair of 19th Century Bronze Putti Candelabra. The twin gilt brass arms cast with grapevine and held by the bronze putti; one carrying a tambourine, the other resting upon a tree with a sack beneath. Raised on round marble plinth bases with collars of gilt brass beading 18 ½ ins (47 cms) in height, 6 ins (15 cms) in diameter.
