An oak two door wardrobe by Thompson of Kilburn (Mouseman), circa 1938, the plain cornice with demi-lune cut-outs over two doors of twenty-four small panels each fitted with blacksmith made iron furniture, the sides also each of twenty-four panels on a plinth base, 47.5" wide, 71" high, 22.5" deepNB The wardrobe was ordered in 1938 by a Mr Newton Bacon of the Ship Broking Firm, Sivewright Bacon Ltd of Liverpool, Manchester, Hull and London. The wardrobe was delivered to the property that is now the Miller Howe Hotel, Windermere and is being offered by a member of the family.

A MAGNIFICENT PAIR OF MOZAMBICAN ELEPHANT TUSKS, weighing 122lb. and 118lb., measuring 18 1/2in. and 18 1/4in. in circumference and 8ft. 6in. and 8ft. 5in. in height, mounted on an oak plinth (5ft. x 1ft.) with steel gaiters. These remarkably symmetrical tusks are recorded in Rowland Ward's 'Records of Big Game' 24th Ed. as being the 3rd biggest hunted in Mozambique and rank 125th in the world. The tusks are sold with Cites certificates No.275741/01 and 275741/02.
A rare pair of Svres white biscuit porcelain busts of the Comte DArtois (later Charles X of France) and his daughter in law the Duchesse de Berri each crisply modelled and raised on circular socle bases he with an impressed Svres mark and incised 29-Nov-SZ she inscribed Mas 14 x bu.SZ (Mas for Mascret). His plinth cracked and repaired. c.1816 38cm. (2) Jean Mascret was a sculpteur rŽpareur at Svres from 1810-1848. The Comte DArtois later Charles X King of France and Navarre was born at the palace of Versailles. He was the Grandson of Louis XV and the son of Louis dauphin de France who never reigned and his German wife Marie-Josephe of Saxony. He was crowned king of France in 1824 in the cathedral of Reims and reigned until the French revolution of 1830. He was the last king of the senior Bourbon line to reign over France. Marie-Caroline Bourbon the Duchesse de Berri was the daughter of Francois I King of the Two-Sicilies. She married Charles Duc de Berri (the second son of Charles X) who was assassinted by Louvel in 1820. At the time of the assassination she was pregnant with the Comte de Chambourd (Henri V) who was the last descendant of the ancient branch of the House of Bourbon.
