The drum top case fitted with circular enamel dial, with scroll acanthus decorated wasted base below, the front fitted with ceramic panel painted with an exotic bird. On a White marble plinth, with gilt metal foot below. With makers monogram J.B.D & no: 31455 17-1-stamped on the back plate. 8 day striking on a gong. 29cm high.

The arched pediment with gilt-metal mount to the frieze, over a glazed door enclosing a circular silvered dial, signed 'J.W.Benson- Ludgate Hill-London', similarly marked to the back plate. Plinth base on gilt brass bun feet. 8 day single fussee movement. 30 x 23cm.
