A pair of oriental provincial lacquer food bxes and covers inlaid with floral sprigs, 25cm diameter 21 cm high (4)Provenance: Heydon Grange, NorfolkTeapot - lid is a/f with heavy losses. The teapot has some minor pitting and marks to the exterior. The decoration has rubbed. Metal repair to the bottom of the handle. Chamber pot - the lid has fracture liens to the interior with pitting. The gitl and decoation has faded with some enamel punches. The chamber pot has a loss of the handle leaving black marks. There is rust/residue where the metal plinth meets the ceramic pot. Marks and scratches throughout. Lacquered boxes - a/f with heavy losses of inlay and exterior lacquered, with dry cracking.

GLENMORANGIE 12 YEAR OLD MILLENNIUM MALT WITH POT STILL PLINTH HIGHLAND SINGLE MALT 40% ABV / 70cl Famous for their unique stills, each as tall as an adult giraffe, and their passion for innovation, Glenmorangie remains one of the best-selling single malts in the world. They were one of the first distilleries to experiment with cask finishing; the process of transferring spirit from one cask type to another in order to impart additional characteristics and flavours. To further this agenda of innovation, in September of 2021 Glenmorangie began production at their new “Lighthouse” facility, a futuristic R&D department protruding from the heart of their traditional distillery complex like a monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Off limits to the public, it is home to a “sensory lab” as well as two of Glenmorangie’s signature stills, each of which plays host to several classified modifications. BUNNAHABHAIN 12 YEAR OLD FEIS ILE 2005 PORT WOOD FINISH AND BOAT PLINTH ISLAY SINGLE MALT Bottled:12/05/2005Cask #1One of 766 bottles53.4% ABV / 70cl Qty: 2 Purpose built in 1881 by William Baxter, Bunnahabhain distillery on the northeast coast of Islay featured housing for its workers, as well as its own pier for ease of transporting whisky and materials to and from the mainland. As with most distilleries, much of its life was spent producing blending stock, but in the late 1980s it began to appear as a single malt. Initially this single malt output was mostly sherry matured and so lightly peated as to be barely perceptible, placing Bunna’ firmly in the minority of Islay whiskies. However, since its takeover by Distell in 2013 around 20% of the spirit produced there is now heavily peated, with these expressions bearing the name “Moine” (the Gaelic word for peat).

A late Victorian oil lamp, the cranberry and clear glass shade with etched decoration above the cranberry and milk glass moulded reservoir of square form, on a brass fluted base terminating on a black plinth, height 57cm.Condition Report: The chimney does not fit 100% true and has chips to the rim, chipping to the foot rim of the shade, possible internal crack to the reservoir, manufacturing fault to the reservoir.
