The car (which is on display at the Porsche Museum Stuttgart) is finished in metallic green with dark metallic green interior and is mounted on a dated brass plinth. A GILT-METAL MANTEL CLOCK, C.1900, the drum shaped case with urn surmount and pear-drops to either side, the white enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals, in the recess a visible escapement, the American movement by Gilbert, striking the hours and half hours on a coil gong, the clock case mounted on a moulded plinth alongside the figure of a Classical scholar. 50cm wide

A LARGE VICTORIAN "REFORMED GOTHIC" EBONY AND IVORY INLAID OAK DRESSING MIRROR, IN THE MANNER OF CHARLES BEVAN, the cornice with balustrade pediment, the surround inlaid with ivory flowerheads with red dot centres, to each top corner an inlaid eight-pointed star within a roundel, supported on palmette topped supports carved with a boss, the brass clips stamped Cope & Austin Patent, all raised on a moulded and stepped rectangular platform base, unsigned. 98cm high, base 81.5cm wideSmall scuff to front of plinth. In original condition without repair. The mirror (not bevelled) holds various positions. Structurally very sturdy and finished at the back. In generally good condition commensurate with age.
