Intrigued - a terracotta model study by Leslie Harradine - Royal Doulton interest, polished terracotta model portrait mask bust of an African woman, on wooden rectangular plinth with metal supporting rod to centre, signed 'Harradine', not dated, overall height 13½in. (34.4cm.). * Part of a collection of sculpture by Leslie Harradine and primitive paintings by his wife, Molly McCann, from their studio in Sark, The Channel Islands. See lots 1 to 64 in this sale. ** Provenance: From the artists' studio in Sark, by family descent.
F Berlingieri (Italian, 19th Century) Putti cooking; Procession of putti led by a lady riding a lion; Putti racing in chariots pulled by antelope; and Putti erecting a stone plinth all signed lower right "F Berlingieri" oil on paper laid to board (4) 36 x 93cm (14 x 36in) All four panels are quite fragile, the surface is bubbling, the paper is torn on the right-hand side, and the old gilt frames are splitting. Stuck down. The paintings are executed on thick paper which have been mounted onto board. The adhesion is poor and there are numerous air bubbles an undulations. There are small losses to the paper support around the edges. The paintings suffer from differing degrees of wear and loss although overall the paint layers are stable. The paintings all have an uneven varnish coating leading to varying gloss across the surface. The frames have areas of loss to the gilded surface.
A unusual mid-Victorian figured walnut pedestal writing desk, with green leather lined writing surface, fitted three frieze drawers and four small drawers to each pedestal, brass handles and cupboards verso, on plinth bases, together with the original removable raised back of two banks of small drawers flanking a central mirror 75 x 135 x 71cm (29 x 53 x 28in) The condition is very good with some fading to the leather evident when the back is lifted off.
A large Chinese hardwood carving, of Shou Lao, the draped deity stands supported by his staff and holding the peach of longevity, a crane by his side, on a pierced rocky base, outlined throughout with brass stringing, now converted to a table lamp, he stands on a late 19th century French Rococo Revival bronze plinth, cast with a frieze of acanthus scrolls and shell feet, traces of verdigris, 61cm high overall, the carving c. 1900, the stand c. 1880, (2)

A George III oak and mahogany longcase clock, the break arch dial painted with a rural landscape and fruit and flowers, dial bearing Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, eight day two train movement with bell strike, the case with swan neck pediment and turned columns, over a line inlaid and cross banded trunk door, raised on a plinth base.
