Original vintage Soviet courtesy poster - Don't Be Like That! - instructing people to give up their seats for elderly and other passengers in need of a seat during their journey. Great illustration depicting a smug looking child in a military hat and coat, sitting on a bus seat next to his bag while an elderly lady carrying a bag full of shopping stands in the aisle, a younger lady sitting on the seat behind and a man taking up two seats at the back, none of them showing any respect and giving up their seats for her. Good condition, light staining, restored tears and creases in margin. Country of issue: USSR, designer: K Ivanov, size (cm): 58x44.5, year of printing: 1957.

BSA motorcycles (1919-1972) was one of the largest British manufacturing companies that produced motorcycles made by the Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited (BSA); the company merged with Norton Villers Triumph in 1972, which was liquidated in 1978 and the brand name was bought by the BSA Company Limited. The BSA C15 model was a 250 cc single-cylinder motorcycle produced from 1958-1967. Horizontal. Fair condition, folds, staining, tears, creasing. Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster for the Czech League against Bolshevism - Zachvati Li Te Zahynes! / If You're Caught, You're Going To Die! (which became known to citizens as the We Are Not Afraid We Do Not Live There! poster) - featuring a bold illustration of a red clawed hand marked with the Soviet communist hammer and sickle symbol reaching down over Prague Castle (the seat of Czech government in the historic city of Prague) with the stylised text above and UR mark below. A pro-German Nazi group, the Czech League Against Bolshevism was founded in 1944 to promote anti-Communist and anti-Soviet propaganda; the group dissolved in 1945 as a result of the WWII Prague Uprising that led to the liberation of Prague from German occupation. A set of six Victorian walnut dining chairs - the shaped, waisted backs with carved foliate scroll, over stuff over seats, raised on cabriole front legs.* Condition: The chairs are solid with very little joint movement. The upholstery is faded/worn and the webbing is aged and has split on two chairs. All six have old (inactive) worm holes to the beech seat rails - this has come through the walnut veneer in a few places. One chair has an old repair to the joint of the uprights and top rail. Some worn patches to polish and unevenness to colour throughout.
A closely matched pair of early 19th century yew, ash, beech and elm Windsor arm chairs - North Midlands, with double burr yew pierced vase splats and curved arms on baluster turned uprights, over elm saddle seats, on turned legs with H-stretchers, the larger 60 cm wide, 92.5 cm high, one with old repair to front of seat.
