A rare and well-engineered 7 ¼ inch gauge model of a L 4-4-0 tender locomotive No 2663 'George the Fifth', built from Bassett Lowke castings around 1912 and rebuilt by Mr R Fenwick in the1980 s to early 1990 s with copper boiler Serial number 87189 built by Swindon Boilers. The silver soldered copper boiler with fittings including pressure gauge, water sight gauge with shut off cocks, regulator, direction control, blower, two injectors, safety valve, steam brake and blow down valve. The chassis having twin inside cylinders 1 ¾ bore by 3 stroke with Greenly-Joy valve gear, two injectors, foot plate controlled cylinder drain cocks, fluted motion and fitted mechanical lubricating system. The model finished in black and red lined livery with cab-side number plate, George the Fifth' name plate and six wheel tender with driving seat, foot rests, hand feed pump and water cocks, fitted hand-rails, steps and vacuum hose. Total length of locomotive and tender 214cm. Cab width 32cm. Height of locomotive at cab 50cm. Boiler history: Swindon Boiler Serial No 87189. Certificate dated the 8th of March 1987 Hydrostatic test pressure 200 psi. Working pressure 100 psi. Passed boiler history from the February 1995 to 2012 available for inspection at the auction rooms on view days. The locomotive has not been run since 2009. No current boiler history available. A well-engineered 10 ¼ inch gauge model of the London Midland Scottish No 6100 Royal Scot tender locomotive, built with Bassett Lowke castings. The boiler having fittings to include twin water sight-glasses with brass protection guards, steam regulator, pressure gauge, screw direction control and other fittings. The chassis having twin outside cylinders with Walschaerts valve gear, fluted motion and injector. Six wheel tender with fitted driver s seat. The model finished in traditional red and black livery with fitted smoke deflectors, detailed rivet-work, hand-rails, steps and couplings. Name plate Royal Scot . Total length of the locomotive and tender 378cm. Cab width 48cm. * The locomotive with the Royal Scot Train was exhibited at the century of progress Exposition, Chicago 1933 and made a tour of the Dominion of Canada and the United States of America. The engine covered 11,194 miles over the railroads of North American continent and was inspected by 3,021601 people. Driver W Gilberts. Fire men J Jackson and T Blackett. Fitter W C Wood'. The model comes with a water bowser on spoked wheels with wooden block brakes, hand operated water pump and spring mounted hitch. Roller measurements: Length 30cm. Width 16cm. Height 20cm.

A well-engineered 2 inch scale model of a Shand Mason horse drawn fire engine, built by the late Mr Ivor Dolling of Chesham from the Edgar T Westbury drawings and Reeves castings, the model with vertical copper boiler having J tubes, normal steam fittings, twin cylinder live steam engine with cylinder head lubricators, scotch cranks, eccentric driven feed pump with stop cocks, twin spoked flywheels and twin direct coupled water pumps with changeover lever, water tanks, suction and delivery hose, chassis and body details include spoked wooden wheels with metal rims, turning lock, coal bunker, driver's seat with brass rail to back, box body with foot rest, brake gear, bell, lamp brackets and brass lamps. The model finished in red and black paintwork with signwriting Chesham District Council and dated 1894, Length 56cm. Width 28cm. Height 37cm.
