A pair of Chinese hardwood throne style armchairs, carved and pierced animals and foliage, and with mother of pearl inlaid decoration, with a similar table, having a serpentine front top (originally with a marble inset top, now veneered), 111.5 cm wide (3) See inside front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by GH Occasional pieces of mother of pearl inlay missing. Excess furniture polish in the crevices. Structurally very solid. Occasional chips, scratches and gouges commensurate with age. Upholstered seat pads almost certainly of recent manufacture. Good clean condition.
