A pair of Louis XVI-style giltwood fauteuils,late 19th century, French, each with a needlework seat,66cm wide66cm deep99cm high (2)Condition ReportOverall the chairs are in good condition, the frames seem relatively solid with little wobble and the springs quite strong. The needlepoint coverings are in degraded condition with several holes and fraying - see photos. The hessian covering to the back of the seat has come away and the stuffing/back is lapse as a result. General wear and age to the frames, no obvious breakages, repairs or splits. Wear to gilding and remants of old red paint underneath. Wear to the feet and one with small loss. Generally in good structural condition and ready for use with repairs to or replacement of upholstery.

One with two splits/cracks to the seat. Other areas of repair seen in additional photos. Some smaller shrinkage cracks throughout. One with an ash top rail. A few with a bit of wobble but the set generally seem sound and ready for use. Six out of eight stamped to the seat.

A large ash and elm comb-back Windsor armchair, 18th century, with a saddle seat, 68cm wide 57cm deep 104cm highThe Accumulations of a Cotswold Antiques Dealer: The David Pickup Edit.Condition ReportGeneral old knocks, wear and repairs throughout commensurate with age, all serving to provide a charming rustic appearance. Three spindles below the left arm appear to be old replacements. Old woodworm damage, which is not active. All joints generally solid and sturdy. General surface wear to the seat. Very comfortable. The back feet re-tipped. Please see additional photos. 41cm high to the top of the seat.
Two Regency faux bamboo painted open armchairs,early 19th century, each with painted floral decoration and raised on simulated bamboo legs and stretchers,58cm wide44cm deep92cm high (2)The Estate of the Late Malcolm Frazer.Condition ReportOne arm to each chair slightly loose at the joints (the dark upholstered example needing more attention thatn the other). In general, the paintwork is worn on both, and there are scratches and scuffs present throughout. A few cracks to the frame also present. The dark upholstered seat with three tears to the fabric, the caned seat with a small partition to the centre, and the stuffing underneath coming slightly loose. However overall, are in reasonable aesthetic condition. Please see additional images for reference.

No obvious/large cracks or chips. Sits flat on a stable surface. Overall the colours and strong and the seat is in good cosmetic condition.
A stripped pine faux bamboo settee, 19th century and later,124cm wide46cm deep86cm highCondition ReportThis settee has a nice aesthetic with a rustic finish. Some of the supports have been replaced and are not in faux bamboo style. The underneath of the seat has been reinforced for strength. There is a small tear to the caned seat, however it does feel sturdy. There are signs of historical woodworm. Additional images are available.
