The deity is known as 'He whose bounty is omnipresent' and represents the Buddhist Law and compassion. The bodhisattva is borne by a white elephant, symbolic of the strength achieved through the practice of Buddhism.Known as Puxian in Chinese, he is sometimes shown in Chinese art with feminine characteristics, bearing similar dress and features to some depictions of Guanyin. It is in this guise that Samantabhadra is revered as the patron bodhisattva of the monasteries associated with Mount Emei in western China. Some believe that the white elephant mount of Samantabhadra was the same elephant that appeared to Queen Maya, the mother of the Buddha, to herald his birth.Auction result comparison: Compare a related bronze elephant-form censer, 37 cm long, dated to the late Ming dynasty, at Christie's Hong Kong in The Pavilion Sale on 4 April 2017, lot 64, sold for HKD 100,000.

A copy of the Tara brooch with two collet-set opals and two coloured cabochons, stamped to reverse WATERHOUSE DUBLIN; together with Victorian multi-gem set shield brooch(Width of tara brooch: 10cm)Footnote: The original Tara brooch is currently housed in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin, and was found in 1850 by a peasant woman, not on the Hill of Tara from which the piece takes its name, but on a beach in County Meath. She claimed to have come across the piece in a box there, and took it to a local jewellery dealer who, seeing the craftsmanship and value of the item, was quick to rename it after the seat of the high kings of Ireland, aligning it with a period of history which was at the time very popular, and more importantly, lucrative. It dates from about AD700, and is one of the most impressive examples of its kind, cast in silver with intricate gold filigree decoration and glass, amber and enamel detail, it is considered to represent the pinnacle of early medieval Irish metalworkers' achievement. Before it made its way into the Royal Irish Academy's collection in 1872, it was a central piece at The Great Exhibition in London in 1851, and the Paris Exposition Universelle. It was even sent to Windsor Castle for inspection by Queen Victoria before the Dublin exhibition in 1853.

Extremely Rare 1st Model Twin Tube Airborne Forces Folding Bicycle, this type of bike was the first model design with twin tubes leading to the leather seat, this was soon replaced with the more common found single tube versions. This example retains much of its original paint finish to the frame. Front section with the BSA makers mark. Original handle bar coverings with BSA makers mark. The front section of the bike fitted with a khaki painted black out light. Leather BSA marked saddle which is a larer replacement. Repair kit pouch fitted to the back. The bike has been used in the post war years by the current vendor and as such some pieces have been replaced, which is to be expected/ Overall this is a good example of an extremely rare item of Airborne forces equipment. It is believed that approximately 60,000 examples of the folding bike were manufactured by the BSA between 1942 and 1945. The majority of this number were the later single tube design. Only a handful of twin tube examples are known to exists around the world with many museums not having an example. They were famously issued to the British Airborne Forces who parachuted into Normandy on D-Day and Arnhem later in 1944. They were issued these bikes as a way for the troops to quickly cover large areas of ground in a quiet manner as they were behind enemy lines. However many of the paratroopers found these cumbersome so abandoned them soon after landing. The bikes were held out in front of the paratroopers when they parachuted in behind enemy lines. Many famous wartime images can be seen of these bikes in use.
