An early 20th century musical doll's swing boat set ensuite with six French dolls, the swing set of wood construction with drop down sides, three double seat swings and clockwork music box, 17 3/4" long, with six matching miniature dolls, with bisque heads, blue glass fixed eyes, five piece composition bodies, moulded and painted shoes, and original outfits, each doll 4" tall, numbered 102 (?) Dolls generally good, one with missing foot and same with crack to other leg. Another doll with crakcs to legs, but structurally sound.

The legs and undertier with an red brown stain. There is some evidence of worm.The caned armchair - The interior back and arms with woven fabric and vestiges of a previous cloth still around the close nailing. The woven fabric has some tears and stains. There are some damaged areas of wicker, with some missing parts including to the front of the seat rail and the feet. The green cross stitch seat cushion - with a later green fabric base. A 'PRIORY' SOFA BY ROBERT KIME LTD 93cm high, 245cm wide, 120cm deep Together with five cushions comprising two with Swat silk embroidered cushions, North West Pakistan, circa 1900, and three with printed quilt cloth Condition Report: THE SOFA:Overall there are some scratches, marks and abrasions consistent with age and use.Observations include:There is some compression to the upholstery of the arms and back, one top corner has a raw edge of the fabric untucked from the upholstery.The fringed braid has some fading, a few pulled threads and is a little stiff so that the fringe does not 'hang' vertically.There is a linear mark to the top of the back of the sofa, possibly from the sofa being against a wall or a piece of furniture.The printed linen fabric of the three seat cushions has softened, worn and faded to the front portion and there are some marks of use.THE LOOSE CUSHIONS:The two Swat geometric embroidered cushions are threadbare to three sides and extensively worn and marked to the fourth side.The small pale cushion has holes, from wear and also probably from corrosion from the dye from the printed pattern as the holes correspond to the print. Some areas appear to be ebonised, other areas including the back have paint simulating calamander.There is evidence of old worm.There is some damage and repair including to the from leg / seat rail areas where there are some traces of glue and to the crest rail area.The squab cushion has a string tie to the small opening at the back, the filling is slightly compressed and crunchy to feel. A PAIR OF COTSWOLD SCHOOL ASH LADDERBACK SIDE CHAIRS ATTRIBUTED TO PHILLIP CLISSET AND ERNEST GIMSON, EARLY 20TH CENTURY Each with a rush seat and floral sprig printed squab cushions 97cm high, 46cm wide, 45cm deep Condition Report: Overall there are some scratches, marks, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and use.Observations include:The rush seats are aged but intact.The ladder back has scores and darker wood dowels - very much an Arts and Crafts design feature, with similar scored rings around the legs marking the position of the stretchers and the seat.There is some evidence of old worm.There is some fading giving an overall honey colour.The squab cushion tops and sides are covered in a 'patchwork' of 19th century fabric woven with flower sprigs, backed with a plain linen fabric of some age. A LATE VICTORIAN WALNUT ARMCHAIR LATE 19TH CENTURY With William Morris blue flower jacquard woven double woollen upholstery 90cm high, 80cm wide, 90cm deep Together with a blue cotton pulled thread cushion 56cm x 30cm Condition Report: Additional dimensions: the arms are approximately 69cm high, and the seat is approximately 38cm high - both are sloping so a rough mid-way measurement has been taken.Overall there are some scratches, marks, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and use.Observations include:The wool woven fabric has two distinct holes to the buttoned back. Though the fabric appears intact, on close inspection the fabric has previously had another life and been later upholstered to this armchair of similar date to the fabric. The back of the chair is blue cotton. There is some evidence of old moth. There indistinct restoration including a joined seam to the inside of one arm, and, visible only under close inspection later stitches to repair and strengthen multiple areas of fabric including the arms and the front area of the seat and elsewhere.The piping is a later blue and black cord.One back leg has a repaired split towards the top of the leg.There are chips to some of the tops of the legs.The brown pottery casters are indistinctly stamped '?&?
