A Late 17th Century Joined Oak Back Stool attributed to Lancashire Circa 1670-1700. The deep domed top rail having a thumb moulded edge above a leafy plant with central tulip head defined against a recessed pitted ground. The fielded back panel flanked by plain uprights with pyramidal finials. The plank seat framed by raised rails standing on turned legs united by stretchers and terminating on turned feet, 42½ ins (108 cms) high, 17½ ins (45 cms) in width.*
