CONDITION REPORT: Ticket stubs include: Liverpool V St Etienne, 16th March 1977, Main Stand, Row 1, Seat 74, Liverpool V St Etienne, 16th March 1977, Kemlyn Road Stand Block K, Row 7, Seat 155, Liverpool V Borussia Monchengladbach (Champions of West Germany), 12th April 1978, Ground Ticket, Spion Kop No.5707, Two tickets for European Champion Clubs Cup Competition Semi-Final at Anfield, Kemlyn Road Stand Block K, Row 28, Seats 166 and 167. The handwriting on the brown envelopes/packaging simply describes the contents of the individual packets.
ROBERT 'MOUSEMAN' THOMPSON (1876-1955); an oak dining suite comprising hand adzed refectory table, 71 x 214 x 82cm and a set of eight open arm carvers, with studded leather seat pads, raised on block stretchered supports, one bearing heraldic plaque to the back, with motto 'I Show No Boast' (9).Footnote: Purportedly commissioned for the boardroom at Booths Brewery where the a member of the vendor's family was the chairman. CONDITION REPORT: Wear commensurate with age and use, including scratches, scrapes, scuffs and staining, etc to the top of the table, with some fading. The chairs have similar wear. The tops of the chairs are also faded and the leather on the chair seats is very worn, faded and stained. But overall a very pleasing set.
