There were numerous pieces of finished and half-finished pieces and prototypes left on the grounds. Brazier-Jones did, on numerous occasions, visit Hay Farmhouse following the sale, until the vendors sold the property in 2023.Condition ReportOxidisation throughout. Knocks, scuffs and wear.
second half of the 19th century, upholstered in blue green velvet with a beadwork panel and raised on lion paw supports,56cm wide65cm deep97cm highCondition ReportKnocks and wear to the legs Loss to the left front foot. A small amount of beads missing from the beadwork, there is what appears to be a pinkish paint on a small area of the beading on the seat of the chair. The velvet is crushed and has some scarring. The chair is sturdy. The upholstery would benefit with a light clean. Please see additional condition images.
