Seat cushioning good and supportive. Upholstery fabric good.
A pair of Queen Anne period oak dining chairs, with moulded top rails above vase splats and drop-in seat cushions, raised on cabriole front supports and canted back supports united by block-and-baluster 'H' form stretchers, the backs stamped by the maker 'I.T.', 53cm wide x 43cm deep x 95cm high, seat height 47cm. (2)Condition report: Both structurally sound, have splits to the backs of the top rails, general marks and wear consistent with age and use.

17thC English jointed oak wainscot chair with carved double scroll pediment, turned finials and flower border above an inlaid foliate central panel flanked by serpent with arrow shaped tongues, the shaped arms with simple drop finials supported by bulbous artichoke style supports, the plank seat with repeat scrolling decoration, raised on bulbous reeded back legs united by stretchers with matching carving to the seat apron, W67 x D42 x H45cm (to seat), total height 124cm. A Welsh oak open armchair, 18th century, the shaped top rail above a vase splat pierced with a heart and four holes, the scroll arms with baluster supports over a boarded seat, raised on square-section supports united by rectangular-section stretchers, 65cm wide x 62cm deep x 107cm high, seat height 41cm.Footnote: Footnote: The unusual series of drill holes in the lower part of the splat on this chair are said to indicate how many children had been born to the household.Condition report: Structurally good with solid joints. Good colour and figuring. Two shrinkage splits to seat boards. Some marks, dints and scratches consistent with age and use. Evidence of (very old) worm.

Show wood good with minor cosmetic marks consistent with age and use.Salon chair: A little movement to the back. Wood elements have some cosmetic marks. Back left support shows evidence of worm.
