A 19th Century Hand-Coloured Illustration of a Barouch or Landay Wicksteed Carriage-on card measuring 10"x6". It features two lifting flaps which show either a hard or soft folding top and coachman's seat covered or uncovered. The suggestion of a coat of arms on the carriage door intimate that in it's day, from the 18th C well into the 19thC, this was an extremely expensive mode of transport.
