A collection of original watercolour designs for needlework, together thirteen large pencil and watercolour designs for needlework, on thick paper or card, depicting flowers, fruit, and birds, for seat covers, clerical vestments, etc., most signed or monogrammed, a number with the address '91 Wigmore Street', some with calligraphic titles and pencilled marginalia giving details of client and date, some creasing, tears, and repairs, sheet size approximately 51 x 68cm (20 x 26.75ins), together with twenty similar large designs by Lady Alison, two with pencilled colouring, and the remainder monochrome designs in black ink for seat covers, most monogrammed, generally frayed, plus fourteen smaller designs, five monochrome and the remainder watercolour, including a pattern for a tea cosy, borders for a chess board, and designs for a set of six dinner mats, various condition and sizes (47)

He graduated from the Academy of Art in Florence and Brera Milan. In the early 80’s he and a group of artists founded the movement “New Futurism”. He has participated in exhibitions and projects for major industries. Notes: His iconic imagery has been commissioned by Swatch, Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, Ducati, Illy Coffee, Dash, Carlsberg, Valentino, Coveri, Seat, Fiat and Saatchi & Saatchi, etc. In 1994 Lodola was invited by the chinese government to show his art in the ex-archives of the Imperial City of Beijing. In 2001 he curated the imagery for the Carneval of Venice and in 2005 he created the poster for the Turin Winter olympics. He has exhibited at the last 3 editions of the prestigious Venice Biennale 2009-11-15, at the Milan EXPO 2015 and in many museums around the world.
Very Scarce Ingap (Italy) Padover Ferrari 500 Clockwork Racing Car, red tinplate body, tan seat, racing number ‘42’ steering wheel broken, but present, missing windscreen, working clockwork motor, in good used original condition, still displays well! 12 in (30.5cm) long. Vendor states that his aunty worked for Motor Sport Magazine in the 1950’s this model was sent to them for appraisal in a issue of the magazine, it was then given to the vendor as a gift when he was a boy.
