A QUEEN ANNE OAK SETTLE, DATED 1704 the panelled back with central armorials, the gadrooned top rail inscribed QVEEN ANNE ReX [sic] 1704, the other panels with leafy grotesques, above the lidded seat and panelled front, 120cm h; 183 x 50cm Finials later, the odd minor shrinkage crack in the panels which is not too noticeable. The hinged seat an old replacement.
