MID-20TH CENTURY DESIGN; AN ASH BENTWOOD OPEN ARMCHAIR48cm wide; 88cm highCondition report: Overall in good condition. The chair feels relatively sturdy and the seat is intact. A few spots of paint to the back of one back leg. There are the inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents and minor marks to the frame commensurate with wear, use and age.A small crack has emerged around the join where the one arm meets the back upright - possibly previously repaired but disguised with colour/polish, or a generic weakness. A SET OF TEN GEORGE III MAHOGANY HOOP BACK DINING CHAIRS (10)On splayed square supports, including a pair of carversCondition report: Overall, in reasonably good condition considering use and age. There are the inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age. Notably some worn edges towards the bottom of the seat backs (where they join the actual seats) and to the edges of the legs, as to be expected. One chair with repaired breaks either side of the hoop back (see images). Some colour variation and wear to the polish/varnish as to be expected. The upholstery is in a very worn, stained and used condition; one seat with a tear throughout. Also, carved detail extended to the end of arms on the carvers.

There is small area of peeling to the mesh over one arm of the sofa. The upholstery is fragile and has splits which can be seen through the webbing - this is most notable to the seat of the sofa, one armchair with more cracks and openings than the other.
