Pair of 19th century carved oak armchairs, each with acanthus serpentine pediment over panelled back, open arms, solid seat and raised on block and turned legs united by stretchers, 64cm wide, 119cm high and 63cm deep. (2)CONDITION REPORT: Chair 1 - underside of the seat is heavily glued and has modern brackets. The frame is sturdy. Top rail has been screwed down and screws from back into arms.Chair 2 - same as above but has a seat split right to left.
Hepplewhite style open armchair, the fleur-de-lys oval back over scroll arms, stuff-over seat, fluted frieze, raised on fluted turned legs, 65cm wide, 75cm high and 50cm deep.CONDITION REPORT: Seat height, 47cm. Frame is tight. Fine crack to the top of front right leg block. Wear to the seat and some discolouration. Wear as with use. Overall good condition.
Regency mahogany and inlaid longcase clock by Bagnall, Gloucester, the arched hood mounted by finials, metal face, Roman and Arabic numerals, ticking ship, flanked by spiral columns, shell inlaid trunk door, stepped base, bracket feet, anchor escapement striking bell, 219cm high.CONDITION REPORT: Mahogany cornice is later. The veneer is lacking to the marquetry. There are cracks around the trunk door. The veneer to the base has been patched. There are packers under seat board. Well presented but not entirely original.
Fine burr walnut dining suite comprising of a Queen Anne style dining table including additional leaf, 105cm wide, 76cm high and 162cm long, 212cm long extended; sideboard, 183cm wide, 95cm high and 62cm deep; canteen chest, 84cm high, 123cm wide and 53cm deep; and a set of eight chairs, including two carvers. (11)CONDITION REPORT: Chairs - Seat height is 49cm. The chair frames are tight. Colour faded in areas. Seat pads are worn.Table - has some colour fading. General scuffs and scrapes, as with age.Sideboard - has general scuffs and scrapes. Some colour fading to the top. Ring mark. Some discolouration to the top over large knots in the wood grain.Canteen - some colour fading. Scuffs and scrapes, as with use.Overall well presented and in good, usable condition.

A Victorian rosewood framed nursing chair, in probably original striped upholstery, with shaped back and serpentine front rail, on French cabriole supports with casters, w.63cm, seat h.38cm, seat d.58cm, back h.86cm.Some give to front right and rear leg, but the frame is generally strong and can comfortably be used.Casters probably replacement.Upholstery quite tatty, faded and marked.Sections of braiding missing.
