A Marklin O gauge 20 volt model of 'der Adler' built to celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of Germany's first passenger train service in 1935. The original built in the UK in Sheffield by George Stephenson. The set consists of a 2-2-2 locomotive with driver and 2 axle tender, one open coach, one enclosed and one with raised seat for the gaurd, the set includes 8 curved and 2 straight Marklin 3 rail track, all with little evidence of playwear.
A Dyrlund teak Lotus or Flip-Flap dining table, 1970s, the round top lifts to reveal four expandable leaves supported by a X footed pedestal base, original Dyrlund label to underside, 109cm diameter closed, and 150 cm diam extended; together with a set of 4 associated teak dining chairs from the same period, original mid brown leatherette upholstery to seats and base with "knee" protrusion at the front of the seat and rounded cut-away back, original Dyrlund labels (5)
Garden Bench/Furniture: A pair of Coalbrookdale cast iron seats 2nd half 19th century with stamped no. 90929 pattern no. 20 and with diamond registration stamp 170cm.; 67ins wide This design number 90929 was registered and patented by the Coalbrookdale company at the Public Records office on the 20th of April 1853 and was seat number 20 in the Castings catalogues of 1875.
