George III mahogany cased bracket clock by Sampson Morrice of London, the case having pagoda top with brass handle, four pineapple finials, arch shaped door with pierced brass foliate panels, brass side grilles, arch shaped silvered dial with strike/silent dial and calendar aperture, Roman and Arabic numerals and inscribed Samp,n Morrice London, brass double fusee movement with engraved foliate back plate and mercury pendulum, 50cm high with handle raised Some minor splits to veneers mainly on frame of glazed door and around the pierced side panels, the seat boards supporting the movement are possibly replacements - We do not guarantee the workings of clocks - ** General condition consistent with age
Two late 17th century oak side chairs, possibly Derbyshire, each with a shaped top rail, `X` incised details to the frame and splats, a solid seat and raised on part turned front legs, united with either a bobbin turned or turned front stretcher 1. Split solid seat, splat repaired, woodworm throughout. 2. Split seat, bobbin front stretcher with loss, front right foot worm damaged and loss, top rail split and repaired.
