A Callow shagreen mounted gilt metal double inkwell, dedicated from Nancy, Lady Astor the eight-sided body raised on bun feet, with two hinged cover, each well with gilt metal inkwell tops, stamped Callow 22.5cm. wide Provenance given by Nancy, Lady Astor to Jakie on his 25th Birthday. Nancy, Lady Astor (1879-1964) was the first woman to sit as a Conservative Member of Parliament in the House of Commons - taking her seat in December 1919.

A Victorian yellow metal and enamelled pocket watch, engraved "Chas Vaughan, 39 Strand, 7552", silvered dial, Swiss keyless movement, signed "Robert, Geneve", the case with black enamelled scene of the Thames at Richmond, in a chased and engraved rococo surround, diameter 4cms. Footnote: The enamelled scene depicts the Richmond Seat of the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensbury.
