LOW BACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIR. Attributed to Rhode Island. Outwardly scrolled arms terminate in rounded handholds. The fourteen turned spindles and two arm supports do not pierce the arm. The wide D shaped seat stands on turned legs with half ball feet.The rear legs splay out and the four legs are held together with an shaped X stretcher. Semicircular crest rail is screwed to the two-piece arm rail. Older apple green paint with some wear and traces of darker green underneath. 15 1/2h. seat. 27 1/2'h. overall.
